Concerned about a Child's Welfare and Protection?
The Child and Family Agency (Tusla) has a primary responsibility to promote the safety and well-being of children. An Garda Síochána also have statutory responsibilities for the safety and welfare of children. Any member of the public who has a concern about a child should contact the local social work duty service in the area where the child lives for advice about reporting your concerns.
If the concern relates to an emergency situation you should contact the local Garda Síochána.
